More than just meat

Smokin Oaks is best known for its organic meat, but our market offers much more. We keep our shelves stocked with products that meet our quality standards. We stock products made by local and regional artisans, and we keep eggs and more from farmers who raise their chickens responsibly and farm organically.

Meet Our Team

Our staff carefully trim and butcher each cut of meat by hand, with care. We also grind and fill our sausages with our own custom blends. These are daily tasks to ensure that what you take home is always fresh.

Justin Head, our owner is the only organic farmer in Robertson County. He comes from several generations of farmers and had farmed conventionally until he had a change of heart. He has since put all his energy into farming regeneratively, cultivating healthy soil and animals to ensure that you receive a clean and healthy product.

William Kruse, our GM is a culinary professional. He has owned his own food business and has spent many years managing in the Natural Food space. He mans the store while Justin mans the combine, ensuring a bountiful selection and great customer service.

On any given day, you’re sure to meet one of these two passionate gentleman, or Justin’s wife Lindsey, so you can be sure that you know who’s bring you your favorite groceries.
