What sets Smokin Oaks Organic Farms apart from the rest? Experience and Regenerative Farming. Our Farmer, Justin Head comes from a long line of farmers. So much so, that he now tends family farms from both sides of his family. Like most farmers, he grew up surrounded by conventional farming practices, but after learning how harmful those practices are, he felt convicted to make some changes.

Justin is now the only organic farmer in Robertson County. He made the switch to the better side of farming in 2015, and has slowly grown his farm’s footprint ever since.

Growing organically is centered entirely on the soil. It’s about making sure that the ground is covered. That it is being enriched by the plants growing on it, and the animals fertilizing it. It takes work to make sure that the soil is alive and active. That it is nutritious. That also means doing to work to keep pests away naturally as well.

Pastured Raised meat only supplemented with organic grains keeps the animals in good health, and ensures that you are eating food that is free from pesticides, antibiotics, and full of nutrients.

We care about the quality of the products that we give our customers. We want to give you something that we can be sure is healthy for you and your family, so we go the extra mile on the farm to ensure it.
