We will always be good stewards of the land and animals in a responsible way. That's the Smokin' Oaks promise.
Our name comes from our home farm’s long history smoking tobacco in old oak bars. Though we no longer grow tobacco, we do still keep our land’s tradition of organic farming alive.
On our small family farm in middle Tennessee, all of our animals are raised on our property and are given clean grains for feed.
Our animals are raised outside in a healthy environment with plenty of open space. Our animals are always treated for problems naturally and are never treated with antibiotics, and are never given growth hormones or steroids. Our animals are grain fed. We raise animals keeping animal health in mind as well as providing the highest quality meat.
On the Combine:
Farmer Justin Head
Our farmer, Justin, is the only organic farmer in Robertson County. Like most farmers, he grew up surrounded by conventional farming practices. After learning how harmful those practices were, he felt convicted to get on the better side of farming.
In 2015 he made the switch, and has slowly grown his farm's footprint ever since. Smokin Oaks is best known for it's responsibly raised meats, but we're excited to introduce to you our locally grown grain.
