Slow Cooker Ground Beef Meatballs

  • 2lbs Ground Beef 
  • ⅓ + 1 tbl bread crumbs 
  • 1 egg 
  • ¼ c diced onion 
  • 1 tbl dried oregano  
  • ½ tsp garlic powder 
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 + ½ 24 oz jars of marinara sauce

In a large mixing bowl, add the organically raised ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, diced onion, oregano, garlic powder, and optional collagen powder and mix until incorporated.  


Preheat broiler and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside. Roll ground beef into 1 inch meatballs and place on parchment lined baking sheets. Broil each sheet from 4 - 8 minutes, until the meatballs are browned (keep an eye on your meatballs, each broiler is different a few moments can be the difference between a nice browned meatball and a burnt one.) 


Preheat crockpot. Pour marinara sauce in bottom of crockpot.


Add browned meatballs to crockpot. Set to HIGH for 3-4 hrs or LOW for 6-8 hrs.
