Quick New York Strip Steak

Ingredients:

  • 2 New York Strip Steaks
  • Salt + pepper to taste 

Directions: 

Safely defrosting your steak, then allow it to rest at room temperature for about 20 minutes.

Sprinkle salt and pepper on each side of the steak. Sear the steak in a pre-heated, lightly oiled heavy skillet over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side.

You can then transfer it to the oven on high heat (425 F) to cook it to your desired level of done-ness for 4-6 minutes. Allow it to rest for a couple minutes before cutting into your delicious steak.
